Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by gathering pertinent medical history, performing specialized assessments, and documenting results meticulously to guide treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, making sure to incorporate their contributions into goal-setting processes.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring responsiveness to their evolving health status.
• Maintain proactive communication with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, recognizing and documenting any changes in patients' conditions that may require plans to be adapted.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that all documentation related to patient care is completed accurately and promptly.
• Exhibit effective time management skills to adhere to productivity benchmarks, while maintaining an organized treatment schedule and being punctual for meetings and appointments.
• Contribute to departmental goals by participating in educational initiatives, quality improvement processes, and community outreach programs.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere by promoting customer satisfaction and taking proactive steps to eliminate barriers to patient access.
• Engage in personal and professional development through continuing education opportunities, while also serving as a clinical instructor for students in training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Stay Graceful PT Clinic will work primarily with a diverse patient population needing orthopedic rehabilitation services. This includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients regain mobility, increase strength, and improve functional capacity, thus enhancing their overall health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
