Work Environment

As part of an orthopedic outpatient practice, you will work onsite in a modern rehabilitation facility designed for comfort and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address patients' goals and needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality outcomes.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to deliver specialized care and intervention strategies.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans using a variety of rehabilitation techniques.
• Encourage patients by providing motivational support during treatment sessions.
• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Promote wellness by educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices and injury prevention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and those dealing with chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes to older adults, all seeking relief from pain and enhancement of functional movement. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these individuals regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master of Physical Therapy (MPT), or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No board actions or disciplinary actions on your license.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Proficient manual therapy and exercise skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, employees benefit from a comprehensive package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. Our policy on paid time off includes holidays and personal days, promoting work-life balance. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is also available for eligible candidates.
