As a mental health counselor with Four Winds Therapy, you will work entirely remotely, giving you the freedom to choose a flexible work schedule while still being part of a supportive therapeutic community. Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Manage crisis situations effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Regularly collect and document patient data to track progress, adjust treatment strategies, and inform therapeutic decision-making.

• Maintain a professional presentation in a virtual environment, ensuring a safe, confidential, and therapeutic space for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your familiarity with trauma-informed care principles will be crucial in providing nuanced support tailored to diverse client backgrounds. Additionally, an understanding of developmental considerations related to pediatric mental health is beneficial, as some of our clientele may require specific approaches relevant to their age and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

• A current Washington State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or an Associate (LMHC-A) designation.

• At least one year of professional experience in behavioral/mental health settings.

• Keen understanding of trauma-informed approaches and research-backed methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with the latest developments in mental health practices, including professional psychedelic integration counseling.

• Experience in pediatric mental health care and an understanding of developmental issues across the lifespan.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually. In addition to a favorable salary, we provide:
