Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at BioMechanics Orthopedics Services, you will enjoy an onsite working setting that allows for close interaction with your colleagues and access to cutting-edge equipment. You will partake in a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, balancing attentive patient care with professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize and address the physical therapy needs and goals of each patient effectively.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention and treatment outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment methods and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes while progressively decreasing the reliance on surgical interventions.
• Design and promote tailored fitness and wellness programs suited to the diverse requirements of various patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment strategies as necessary to encourage optimal recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with patients regarding treatment plans and goals while providing motivation and support throughout their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required for this role.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Buffalo, NY, without any disciplinary actions.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, and effective utilization for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
