Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with patient management and supporting healthcare providers to ensure smooth and effective clinical operations. Essential Responsibilities: Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, education, and clear instructions to patients. Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records. Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation and patient understanding of discharge instructions. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications and logs. Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring proper consents are obtained for invasive procedures and immunizations. Distribute educational materials and support patient understanding of treatments and medication usage. Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations. Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
