Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Collaborate with clients to design tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs and therapeutic goals, promoting buy-in and active participation in their healing journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address various mood and anxiety disorders effectively.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, enhancing understanding and support of their condition.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on therapeutic outcomes and feedback.

• Participate proactively in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic treatment approach.

• Stay updated on the latest research and practices related to mood disorders to integrate new knowledge into therapeutic strategies and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical practices in handling client records and documentation.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
