A Touch Of Luck Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation center located in beautiful New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in New Smyrna Beach, where you will have access to modern therapy tools and equipment designed for optimal patient recovery. The structured weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allows work-life balance while attending to a diverse patient population with a variety of orthopedic needs. You will collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals who share a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement a variety of hands-on therapy techniques and guided exercise programs tailored to individual patients using therapeutic modalities and functional training.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, ensuring they meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal conditions, including functional movement assessments and manual therapy interventions.
• Continuously track patient progress, documenting improvements and modifying treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and the importance of adhering to prescribed therapy.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and optimize care delivery in a collaborative environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, surgery recovery, chronic pain management, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with patients of all ages, providing compassionate care and guiding them on their journey toward recovery and improved functional independence.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Physical Therapy (PT) license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing a proven track record of patient success.
• Experience in creating and implementing rehabilitation programs for post-operative patients is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and physical therapy-specific software is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
