Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bear Lake PT Clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and orthopedic conditions.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs and evidence-based practices.
• Providing ongoing consultations to other healthcare providers regarding patient care and optimizing treatment pathways.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progression according to regulatory and professional standards.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, effectively communicating with physicians, patients, and families regarding treatment protocols and progress.
• Conducting patient education sessions to enhance understanding of treatment plans and encouraging active participation in recovery.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, physical therapy aides, and students, fostering their development and maintaining high standards within the department.
• Engaging in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote services and expand community awareness of orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
