Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which features modern equipment and design aimed at fostering patient recovery and team collaboration. Your work hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy care tailored to each patient's unique goals, addressing their specific needs and ensuring optimal recovery.
• Maintain an appropriate patient load to spend quality time with each individual, promoting effective assessment and treatment strategies.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing on your background and previous experiences to enhance patient outcomes.
• Implement cost-effective treatment approaches aimed at improving motion, mobility, and overall physical health.
• Prioritize non-surgical techniques to reduce reliance on medications and bolster patient independence.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a range of treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the distinct requirements of each patient.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey, encouraging commitment to treatment plans and lifestyle changes.
• Continually assess the progress of patients, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient encounters, treatment provided, and procedural notes to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a variety of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related issues. Our client base ranges from young athletes to active seniors, each with their own set of goals and challenges. Your role will be critical in improving their physical capabilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for efficient and precise documentation.
• Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting, specifically in orthopedics or sports rehab.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
