• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist with training newly hired staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality protocols.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
