This full-time position allows you to provide vital mental health services remotely, supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still making a significant impact on the lives of your clients. Your work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. You will utilize telehealth technologies to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and consultations, ensuring effective communication and engagement with your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally attuned mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' unique experiences and craft individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific needs of each client, integrating their cultural backgrounds and personal histories into the therapeutic process.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, effectively addressing mental health issues while fostering a supportive, inclusive atmosphere.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care that addresses all facets of a patient’s mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, employing established protocols to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Offer educational resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community support services.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences, sharing insights and contributing to our collective knowledge on cultural competency and best practices.

• Remain updated on the latest research and developments in the mental health field, continually enhancing your practice with modern methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice emphasizes mental health services for individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. You will work with clients facing various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics, always tailored to respect their unique perspectives and needs. Your role directly contributes to improving patient outcomes through focused, culturally informed care.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and effective treatment plans, particularly awareness of cultural considerations in therapy.

• Experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations using inclusive approaches, with the ability to adapt techniques to suit various client needs.

• Proficiency in crisis intervention and the capacity to respond effectively during pressing situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong, trusting relationships with clients from various backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation and care coordination effectively.
