Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop customized treatment plans based on each client's unique circumstances and needs.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for adults, along with specialized Play Therapy aimed at children affected by domestic violence.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings, ensuring continuous professional growth and adherence to best practices.

• Maintain detailed documentation of each client's treatment progress while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.

• Collaborate with community organizations to facilitate additional support services, including crisis intervention and resource referrals.
\n
• Engage clients with empathy, offering ongoing emotional support and guidance through challenging situations.
\n
• Keep up-to-date with monthly reporting and administrative responsibilities concerning caseload management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is primarily on women, teens, and children who are either currently in or have previously experienced domestic violence. Through compassionate and specialized therapeutic approaches, Counselors at Hopestone Counseling Services work to empower clients, facilitate their healing process, and provide them with essential tools for recovery. The practice recognizes the complex, multi-faceted nature of trauma and strives to address the emotional, psychological, and social needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Valid LPCC licensure in the state of California is mandatory for this role.

• Demonstrated experience in individual counseling and family interventions is essential.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, particularly late afternoons and evenings, are necessary to accommodate clients' schedules.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed for in-office sessions and community outreach.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing Play Therapy services will be highly regarded.

• Preferably, candidates will have some weekend availability to accommodate diverse client needs.

• Experience in working with clients facing domestic violence or traumatic experiences is a plus.

• Comfort with using virtual counseling platforms and maintaining electronic health records.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
