Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students, drawing on diagnostic skills to identify various emotional and behavioral challenges. Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique circumstances of each client, incorporating input from parents and educators as appropriate. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, using creative and engaging techniques to foster communication and expression among students. Maintain meticulous client records and document therapeutic progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. Engage in regular supervision and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, enhancing your clinical skills and therapeutic practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents within the school system experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. You will work closely with students and their families, employing empathetic listening and therapeutic techniques to foster healing and resilience. Qualifications A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, equipping you with the theoretical foundation and practical knowledge required for clinical practice. Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), demonstrating your commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing education. At least three years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, providing a solid background in handling diverse cases and developing effective treatment strategies. A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
