Business Development Manager

About the Firm Our client, a nationwide law firm recognized for its leading Private Equity and M&A practice. They have a track record of working with private equity sponsors of all sizes to execute their transactions in the middle market. This work puts them in a unique position to deliver a more effective and efficient process for sponsors. They are experiencing rapid growth, and need a Business Development professional who is passionate about strengthening client relationships, and expanding market share. The Role: Partner with the Director of Marketing & Business Development to execute strategy, coordinate initiatives across practices and partners, and build a scalable, revenue-focused BD function. Develop and advance high-value client and prospect opportunities through targeted outreach, account planning, cross‑selling, pitches, proposals, and pitch meeting preparation. Bring structure and accountability to pipeline management by tracking targets, conversion metrics, ROI, and revenue outcomes while aligning BD investments with firm priorities. Provide market, client, and competitive intelligence that helps partners identify opportunities, sharpen positioning, and pursue strategic growth initiatives. Collaborate with marketing on submissions, events, sponsorships, and client‑facing content to ensure every activity supports broader business development goals and measurable impact. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, 7–10 years of law firm or professional services BD experience, strong commercial and project management skills, and the ability to work in New York or Los Angeles on a hybrid schedule with occasional travel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
