Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs, establishing personalized treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, to facilitate therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups providing essential life skills education and community connection among participants.

• Engage in a collaborative approach with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to create an integrated care plan for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies and aiding in the management of acute situations.

• Educate patients about various mental health conditions and available resources, thereby promoting informed decision-making regarding their treatment options.

• Maintain thorough and accurate confidential documentation in adherence to HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Contribute to case discussions in team meetings to foster shared learning and improve patient outcomes.

The patients you will serve at Union Counseling Center come from diverse backgrounds, often facing complexities related to their mental health. By working primarily with adults experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance use, you will play a crucial role in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental wellness. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institute.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong knowledge and experience with mental health disorders and a variety of treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to develop effective, individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, especially in remote settings.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for clear, empathetic engagement with clients.

• Sound judgment regarding professional ethics and boundaries in clinical practice.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems and various office software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
