Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients via our secure telehealth platform. As part of our integrated outpatient care model, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide seamless, high-quality care.
\n Work hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility for evening hours based on client appointments. This schedule supports a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring access to our services when clients need them most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments for clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use concerns, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Engage with clients to collaboratively create individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific mental health and substance use needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to equip clients with essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques that foster long-term growth.

• Coordinate care among team members, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach that addresses all aspects of a client’s recovery journey.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to inspire clients toward their recovery goals.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of commitment to treatment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation detailing treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your practice will be individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You will help clients navigate their unique recovery journeys, providing compassionate support and practical strategies to manage their challenges effectively. By understanding the complex interplay between mental health and addiction issues, you will work to facilitate holistic recovery, ensuring clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A solid understanding of the interrelation between mental health disorders and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing telehealth services is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation efficiently.
