Quick Facts Location: Minneapolis, MN Start Date: 09/14/2026 End Date/Duration: 12/14/2026 (potential extension) Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent placement Licenses/Certifications: Minnesota license required; BLS & ACLS; Hematology experience preferred Experience: Prior inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $105.02 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable What You’ll Do Provide inpatient Hematology and Oncology care within a 686-bed hospital setting Support the hematology inpatient services including benign and malignant cases Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including APPs and physicians Manage patient care for a diverse adult and pediatric population Perform complex hematology procedures and patient assessments Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care Document patient interactions accurately using the EPIC EMR system What You Need Minnesota medical license (or eligible via IMLC) Board Certification as PA or Nurse Practitioner Hematology-focused experience, with comfort handling benign and malignant cases BLS & ACLS certification Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This position is at a reputable hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, supporting inpatient Hematology/Oncology services. The hematology APP will be involved with both benign and malignant hematology cases, with opportunities to support the development of the hospital's bone marrow program.
