Work Environment

This position is based onsite, allowing for direct interaction with our patients in their homes, thereby making a significant impact on their recovery journey. Work hours may vary between 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or a flexible four-day workweek designed to accommodate work-life balance as well as staff and patient needs. You will be part of a supportive interdisciplinary team, fostering an environment of cooperation and shared knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients assessing their physical condition, mobility, and functionality to determine appropriate therapy plans.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized therapy protocols that align with patients' recovery goals, continually monitoring their progress.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure holistic care is provided to all patients.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, techniques, and tools that they can utilize at home to complement their treatment.
• Utilize documentation systems to record patient progress and care provided, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy to continuously improve patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from various conditions, including orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain disorders. Your role will be critical in restoring their physical independence and enhancing their overall well-being. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current (or eligible) Florida State Physical Therapy License.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally with a focus on outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits
