Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will be based in our vibrant outpatient rehabilitation facility, which features state-of-the-art equipment designed to facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will enjoy a structured schedule that allows for a balance of clinical duties and professional development. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapeutic services aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect the specific needs and objectives of each patient, drawing from evidence-based practices.
• Continually assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to meet evolving needs and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and other therapists, to coordinate a seamless care experience.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, expected outcomes, and methods to promote overall health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position offers a diverse patient population, ranging from those recovering from post-surgical procedures to individuals managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering quality care to elderly patients, athletes, and those who have sustained injuries in their daily lives. Our focus is on holistic care that addresses not only physical rehabilitation but also psychological and emotional support as patients work towards their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of or eligibility for a valid Florida state physical therapy license.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to develop trusting relationships with patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably within outpatient rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and the ability to document treatment plans efficiently.
• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic, including geriatrics and sports patients, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000–100,000 annually, which reflects your experience and commitment to our patients. In addition to your salary, Progressive Rehabilitation Center provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
