Thriving Journey Therapy, PLLC is on the lookout for a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our passionate healthcare team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing specialized physical therapy services focused on orthopedic care. Work Environment

This full-time position will require you to provide onsite care in our clients' homes, allowing you to develop meaningful connections with patients in a comfortable, familiar environment. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a consistent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability and relieve pain, while working to improve or restore muscle function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels through various diagnostic tests focused on muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional abilities.
• Administer therapeutic exercises manually, as well as instruct clients in non-manual exercises tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, including traction and massage, along with the administration of physical agents to support treatment objectives.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices; make appropriate referrals to physicians for modifications based on individual client evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve interacting with diverse patient demographics, particularly those needing orthopedic rehabilitation following surgery, injury, or progressive musculoskeletal conditions. Our clients range from active adults to seniors, all seeking to regain mobility and improve their overall functional independence. Understanding the unique requirements of each client and developing person-centered treatment approaches is essential for fostering positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Two years of experience in relevant settings such as orthopedics, geriatrics, acute care, and outpatient environments.
• Strong competency in orthopedic assessments, treatment methodologies, and customized care planning.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to educate clients and empower them in their recovery journey.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical record systems to document and manage patient information effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A background in sports medicine or post-surgical rehabilitation is highly beneficial.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration involving physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with the latest physical therapy techniques and a desire to engage in ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental, and vision insurance.
