Work Environment

The role is onsite at our cutting-edge rehabilitation facility, where we utilize the latest technology and evidence-based therapy practices. Our physical therapy team comprises experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding treatment outcomes. You will work regular hours from Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized patient care by developing tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's specific goals and requirements.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, ensuring that each individual receives the dedicated attention necessary for optimal recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional capability.
• Implement cost-effective treatment methods, emphasizing non-invasive alternatives to reduce dependency on medications.
• Continuously assess and address each patient's progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to promote integrated patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, helping them set realistic goals and celebrating their achievements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals recovering from injuries. Your role will be critical in helping these clients regain strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination necessary for their daily activities and sports performance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and the design of effective exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Familiarity with using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for managing patient documentation and records.
• Strong foundation in current physical therapy practices supported by recent research, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse patient demographics, including athletes and seniors.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment, maintaining excellent communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
