Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients via secure video conferencing, ensuring a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to understand client needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress throughout the therapeutic relationship.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address client concerns effectively.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards set forth by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• Participate actively in peer consultations and continued education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

• Coordinate care with other providers or referral sources as needed to ensure holistic support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at Lightbox, you will work with a vibrant and diverse client base, consisting of adults, adolescents, and families. Your focus will be on individuals grappling with a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, identity exploration, and transitional life phases. Your experience and sensitivity towards marginalized communities—such as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and neurodiverse individuals—will be essential in delivering culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience in providing therapeutic services.

• Strong proficiency with teletherapy platforms or a willingness to learn the necessary technologies for effective service delivery.

• Exemplary clinical writing and documentation abilities.

• Comfortable and efficient in a remote work setting, demonstrating the ability to operate independently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
