Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Nurtured Mind Wellness and Therapy, you will:

• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities suited to individual client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans, actively participating in treatment planning meetings to ensure ongoing collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
\n
• Lead group therapy with a focus on psychoeducation, addressing diverse themes such as coping strategies, anxiety management, and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to strengthen familial relationships and improve communication dynamics.
\n
• Monitor patient safety by assessing risk factors and environment, while reporting and responding to any changes in patient status that may arise during therapy.
\n
• Engage in post-discharge follow-ups to ensure continuity of care and support for patients transitioning out of a more intensive level of treatment.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of services rendered, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele, including adults facing various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your work will involve collaborating with individuals from different backgrounds, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity in treatment approaches to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical concepts in understandable terms.

• Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain professional boundaries while fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Willingness to complete a background check as part of the hiring process.

• Experience and comfort working with a diverse population, respecting and valuing differences in race, ethnicity, culture, and socioeconomic status.

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
