Great Phoenix Children's Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in Houston, Texas. Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our Houston facility, which offers a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work Monday through Friday, with hours scheduled from 5:00 PM onwards, allowing for an engaging work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patient medical records to assess health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests—including blood tests and X-rays—to determine diagnoses.
• Formulate treatment plans for both chronic and acute illnesses, considering each patient’s unique medical history.
• Prescribe medications in line with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Support the promotion of health and wellness within the community through outreach and education.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and research to enhance healthcare practices and clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will focus on providing care primarily to adult and pediatric patients within an assisted living context. You will work closely with individuals facing diverse health challenges, making it essential to apply a holistic and empathetic approach. Your role will involve understanding the unique needs of our patients and their families, particularly in chronic disease management and preventive healthcare.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a clinic, hospital, emergency room, or similar healthcare setting.
• Expertise in primary care practices, including acute and chronic disease management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient care regulations and health standards.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
• Strong adherence to ethical practices and a deep commitment to patient advocacy.
• Demonstrated teamwork abilities coupled with a positive attitude.
• Patience and strong problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Valid Texas State Nurse Practitioner license and DEA number is mandatory.
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification is required.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred to better serve our diverse patient population.

Preferred Experience

While experience in various medical specialties is considered advantageous, we particularly value candidates with backgrounds in acute care, internal medicine, cardiology, family health, or urgent care. Comprehensive clinical experience in primary care settings is vital for effectively addressing the diverse healthcare needs of our patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
