Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Specialist (JN -082026-428785) Dedham, Massachusetts Salary: USD50000 - USD60000 per year A well-established organization in the facility services industry is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This position will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing, expense analysis, audit support, and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Responsibilities Compile and process all approved accounts payable expenditures. Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation; reconcile discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders. Analyze expenses and ensure accurate coding to the General Ledger. Prepare and maintain schedules supporting audits, tax requirements, and other financial reporting needs. Assist with the preparation of year-end audit schedules and supporting documentation. Generate and distribute financial reports to various departments and business units. Support special accounting and finance projects as needed. Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure timely payment processing. Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities as required. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience , preferably within a commercial services environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook . Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is preferred.
