Description

• Perform evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient contexts and develop personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional ability
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise programs
• Thoroughly document evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory requirements
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience is highly favored
