Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized therapeutic plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Provide group, family, and individual therapy sessions effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans and coordinate treatment efforts across various services.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems as part of efficient practice management.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Walden, you will work with a diverse demographic, including individuals from various backgrounds and demographics. Our client base may range from children and adolescents to adults seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship dynamics. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these individuals achieve better mental health outcomes and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required.

• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply legal and ethical standards in clinical practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Walden Diagnostic and Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, alongside additional performance-based bonuses.
