Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of individuals, adolescents, and families, utilizing clinical best practices to identify needs and establish treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities, tailored to suit the unique requirements of each client.

• Engage with clients in a compassionate manner, fostering a safe environment that encourages open discussion and emotional healing.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely fashion, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.

• Provide case management by liaising with community resources and professionals to ensure that clients have access to comprehensive resources and services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, providing therapy to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and other mental health issues. Our center emphasizes a holistic approach, recognizing that each client has unique needs and backgrounds. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be crucial as you guide clients on their journey to improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Flexibility to schedule between 10 and 40 hours of client sessions per week, accommodating varying client needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized treatment modalities, such as trauma-informed care or couples counseling, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and remote therapy tools would be advantageous as we adapt to the changing landscape of mental health services.
