SOCIAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR (CLASS CODE 6058)

Job Overview Professional, supervisory and specialized work overseeing counseling assessment, referrals and other human services to individuals, families, and groups in a community, institutional, clinical and/or home setting. Work includes providing direct-line supervision of subordinate social workers and/or other professional social services counselors for a service delivery program within a facility or region. and related work as required. Qualifications A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited college or university. Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) licensure by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners. Three (3) years of professional experience in the field of Social Work, Social Welfare or Public Health. * Prior to appointment, the hiring agency is required to verify education and licensure(s) claimed by the applicant. If selected for hire, applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials and their resume to the hiring agency prior to their start date in this job classification. Training and Experience Rating A rating of training and experience, weighted 100%. All related previous experience will be considered for qualification purposes; however, credit on the rating of training and experience will only be given for related experience gained within the last ten (10) years.
