Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and therapy sessions, providing tailored interventions that promote individual and relational healing.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with clients to identify goals and strategies for progress.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including detailed progress notes, in accordance with agency policies and healthcare regulations.

• Facilitate effective communication with medical professionals, updating them on patient progress, therapy outcomes, and any unforeseen challenges encountered during treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress, using best-practice techniques to manage a variety of behavioral health issues.

• Work closely with clients and their support systems to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition to post-therapy services and ongoing care.

• Engage in regular supervision and continuous professional development activities, contributing to team discussions and enhancing your clinical competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families who seek support for a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts, and trauma. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to apply culturally responsive practices in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• A current and valid LMFT license to practice in California is mandatory.

• At least 3 years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in providing therapy services to diverse client groups.

• Strong competencies in technology applications, including electronic medical records and common office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and maintain high standards of professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in crisis intervention and working with clients from marginalized communities is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, or narrative therapy, will be an asset in this role.
