Work Environment

This position enables you to work remotely while delivering services in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions to clients, addressing a range of mental health issues through evidence-based practices.
• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients’ relational dynamics and mental health requirements, tailoring treatment plans that acknowledge their unique situations.
• Employ family systems theory to facilitate therapy sessions, focusing on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and mitigating family stressors.
• Respond to urgent client needs by providing crisis intervention and ensuring a safe environment for all family members.
• Maintain diligent and confidential records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards to protect client information.
• Educate clients on effective coping strategies and constructive communication skills to strengthen relational interactions and emotional resilience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a holistic care plan for clients.
• Participate in regular training and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base that includes adults, children, and adolescents. Your therapeutic efforts will focus on addressing various issues, such as relationship difficulties, communication challenges, and familial conflicts, always striving to empower clients to lead fulfilling and emotionally healthy lives.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting relevant to marriage and family therapy.
• Proficient communication skills and an empathetic approach to patient care.
• Commitment to ethical practice and the confidentiality of client information.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative clinical team.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet the diverse needs of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient therapy services is highly desirable.
• Experience with a diverse demographic and a variety of therapy modalities will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary of USD 75,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
