Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to guide treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that meet their specific needs and acknowledge cultural factors.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings.

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services, working alongside healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for clients in acute distress.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.
\n
• Introduce psychoeducation to patients and their families, equipping them with knowledge and tools to effectively manage their mental health issues.
\n
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Conduct periodic outcome assessments to evaluate treatment efficacy, making necessary adjustments to optimize client care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse set of clients, including adults and adolescents, many of whom have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and various psychological disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensing as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ experience in mental health counseling, ideally in a community health or clinical setting.

• Experience using telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy is highly valued.

• Knowledge of and experience with trauma-informed care principles.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
