Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments designed to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and frameworks.

• Provide effective counseling and support services to individuals and families facing a variety of life challenges, including personal, academic, and relational issues.
\n
• Execute individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet specific client needs.
\n
• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized service plans that align with clients' goals and objectives, integrating input from the clients and their families.
\n
• Advocate vigorously for clients' rights, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services while addressing pertinent social justice issues.
\n
• Engage in program development, evaluation, and grant reporting to enhance service delivery and track outcomes effectively.
\n
• Collaborate with community organizations, government entities, and local volunteers to improve the network of services available to clients.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach efforts aimed at increasing awareness and accessibility of mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is primarily focused on serving school-aged children and their families, addressing a range of issues that may impact academic success and overall emotional health. You will have the opportunity to support not only the social and psychological needs of your clients, but also coordinate with educational staff to bring about comprehensive support systems within the schools.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
\n
• A deep understanding of social justice and advocacy, trauma-informed care principles, and familiarity with community resources.

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational skills, vital for building therapeutic relationships and achieving positive client outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a nonprofit or similar mental health organization.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $78,000 to $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition, your compensation will come with an attractive benefits package including:
