This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with students and families in need of mental health support. Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in the mental health of your patients. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address a variety of mental health concerns.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical records in line with HIPAA standards and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including school psychologists and pediatricians, to align treatment strategies with educational objectives.

• Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultation meetings to enhance treatment approaches and maintain high standards of care.

• Offering educational resources and support to patients and families to foster awareness and understanding of mental health issues, available treatments, and local resources.

• Staying current with research advancements in mental health and integrating evidence-based practices into your daily work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. Collaborating closely with families and educational professionals, you will foster a supportive environment that promotes the students’ overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience focused on providing psychotherapy services, ideally in a school or educational setting.

• Proficient in evidence-based clinical interventions and skilled in adapting these to fit the unique needs of students.

• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal abilities that facilitate effective engagement with students, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in a school setting, is highly valued. Familiarity with special education needs and resources is a plus, as well as a demonstrated ability to advocate for student welfare within the educational system.

Compensation and Benefits\n
