Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and families to fully understand their needs and challenges.

• Providing individualized therapy sessions for both individuals and families, employing tailored therapeutic strategies based on identified needs.
\n
• Completing essential paperwork such as billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms promptly to ensure smooth operational flow.

• Developing crisis plans and safety measures as necessary, along with relapse prevention and wellness plans to support patients in maintaining stability.
\n
• Creating well-thought-out discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition for patients moving out of therapy.
\n
• Adhering strictly to federal and state regulations and complying with all NEHS policies and procedures.
\n
• Participating in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and case consultations to enhance clinical skills.
\n
• Attending agency meetings to collaborate with your peers and contribute to collective decision-making.

• Completing all mandatory training and licensure requirements to ensure compliance and professional development.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that fulfills licensure requirements.

• Active Licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
