Statistician for AI Model Training [Remote]

Apply statistical expertise to clean, analyze, annotate, and communicate insights from messy, real-world datasets to improve how next-generation AI systems learn and perform. • Clean, preprocess, and structure complex, messy datasets using tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Stata.
• Perform and document descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to identify trends, test hypotheses, and support modeling decisions.
• Create clear, compelling data visualizations that illustrate key findings and support model development.
• Annotate, label, or enrich datasets to improve the quality of training data for AI systems.
• Draft concise, well-organized written summaries of methods, analyses, and results tailored to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and refine deliverables through written and verbal communication.
• Detect data quality issues, recommend actionable solutions for dirty or incomplete data, and document the approaches used to address them.

• Required skills: data cleaning and preparation for messy or dirty data, basic descriptive and inferential statistics, programming in Python or R, data visualization, and the ability to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
