Work Environment

This onsite position is based in a welcoming outpatient office that fosters a collaborative atmosphere among healthcare professionals. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a consistent routine that supports both staff and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop effective and personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and rehabilitation interventions, utilizing a variety of techniques to improve patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Emphasize non-invasive treatment options to reduce reliance on surgical procedures and medications, ensuring a holistic approach to patient health.
• Implement tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
• Provide ongoing education and motivation to patients, empowering them to manage their recovery processes actively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout their treatment plan, adjusting strategies as needed based on their development.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for streamlined patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A clean professional record, free from sanctions or board proceedings, reflects a commitment to professional integrity.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to implement effective exercise regimens for various patients.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT for precise patient documentation.
• A strong foundation in current physical therapy practices supported by recent research, underscoring your commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, a background in orthopedic outpatient care will be considered a significant advantage. Experience working with athletes or individuals in sports rehabilitation is also highly desirable, providing you with a well-rounded skill set to address a broader patient spectrum.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on your qualifications and experience.
