This full-time position allows you to utilize your medical expertise in a supportive clinic environment, where you will contribute to the delivery of comprehensive women's health care alongside a team of talented OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Clinicians. Our competitive salary range is USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year, based on experience.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Henderson, Nevada, our clinic operates from a state-of-the-art surgical center that is dedicated to outpatient OB/GYN services. In this onsite role, you will enjoy a structured Monday to Friday work schedule, totaling 40 hours a week, with minimal disruptions from on-call duties, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel while addressing overflow cases from supervising physicians, ensuring a streamlined patient experience.
• Collaborate closely with a supportive team of medical doctors and other clinicians, fostering a cooperative and effective working relationship.
• Engage in a 100% clinic-based practice focused on advancing women's health care without the stress of on-call responsibilities.
• Conduct various procedures including IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, colposcopies, and, if qualified, circumcisions.
• Participate in the Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) council, gaining access to resources that enhance your practice and support professional development.
• Take part in leadership training and potential advancement opportunities within a progressive organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with diverse patients seeking care in obstetrics and gynecology. You'll be addressing a variety of health concerns, from routine wellness visits and family planning to managing complex gynecological issues. Your compassionate approach and clinical competencies will significantly contribute to improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted State Medical License are required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as well as a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination, including any required boosters, is necessary as per federal and state regulations.
• Active listening, effective communication, time management, and critical thinking skills are essential to thrive in this collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience

• A strong background in Obstetrics and Gynecology is preferred to ensure familiarity with patient care and treatment protocols.
• Experience or training with EPIC Electronic Medical Records to facilitate efficient patient documentation and communication.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting, managing multiple priorities with a patient-centric focus.
