Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will have significant responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and needs.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at empowering patients through coping strategies and recovery skills.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to provide holistic care to clients.

• Responding to crisis situations with effective crisis intervention strategies that support patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and individuals adapting to disabling illnesses or life-altering events. Our focus is on providing comprehensive support to those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, promoting healing and restoring a sense of safety.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable effective communication with patients and families.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, displaying professionalism and empathy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, specifically in delivering trauma-focused interventions and therapies. Compensation and Benefits\n
