Work Environment\n

The work setting for this role is remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively. Our outpatient office collaborates closely with a variety of multidisciplinary teams. A significant advantage of this role is the ability to leverage telemedicine technology for effective session delivery, ensuring that you can provide care to clients regardless of their location.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to design individualized treatment strategies that best meet their needs.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
\n
• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on their specific situations and emotional needs.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and the broader community to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and ongoing training to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC you will be joining will play a critical role in supporting a diverse range of clients who may be dealing with issues such as trauma, relationship difficulties, substance misuse, and various mental health conditions. Our emphasis on personalized care aims to create sessions tailored to the unique experiences and backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n
• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure within the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical context.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse recovery, or trauma-informed care is advantageous.

• A familiarity with utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining client progress notes and scheduling.

• Experience employing technology-based therapy approaches, including teletherapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
