Job Details Personal Injury Attorney – California Locations: San Francisco, Encino, and Pleasant Hill, CA Experience: 1+ years Practice Area: Personal Injury / Civil Litigation Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with 1+ years of experience to join our California team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their litigation experience and take on increasing responsibility in personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation or a strong interest in developing a career in personal injury law. Experience handling cases involving serious injuries, auto accidents, premises liability, products liability, or other tort matters is valued. Responsibilities Evaluate potential personal injury claims and assist with case strategy. Meet with clients, understand their circumstances, and provide clear legal guidance. Investigate accidents and gather relevant evidence and documentation. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents. Manage written discovery and assist with case development. Take and defend depositions as experience permits. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, experts, and other involved parties. Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and settlement conferences. Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibits, evidence, and trial strategy. Work with medical professionals, investigators, experts, and other consultants when appropriate. Manage assigned cases efficiently while maintaining a high level of client service. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff throughout the life of each case. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar. 1+ years of legal experience, preferably in civil litigation, personal injury, insurance defense, plaintiff litigation, or another litigation-focused practice. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Professional, client-focused approach. A genuine interest in developing as a litigator and taking on increasing responsibility. Personal injury experience is not required for the right candidate.
