Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients’ mental health needs, using evidence-based methodologies.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and others.

• Deliver therapy sessions to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing telehealth tools and in-person consultations where applicable.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health care professionals to provide cohesive care that addresses both mental and physical health aspects.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute distress, drawing upon your clinical expertise to ensure effective support.

• Participate in community outreach programs aimed at reducing stigma and raising awareness about mental health resources available to the public.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Family Guidance Therapeutic Center, you will serve a diverse population of clients ranging from children to adults, each facing unique challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A fully independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Proven expertise in communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to establish rapport with clients easily.

• A strong sense of cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively and maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and technologies.

• Previous work in community mental health settings or outpatient facilities is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
