Touch of Peace Counseling Services is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors, including LMFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs, to join our team in providing virtual mental health support. Work Environment\n

The position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage a work-life balance while catering to your patients’ needs. Our team utilizes cutting-edge telehealth platforms, ensuring a seamless and secure virtual therapy experience. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient schedules as necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the specific needs of each patient and formulate individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and address common mental health concerns, promoting engagement and normalizing discussions surrounding mental health.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that patients receive coordinated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing your understanding of urgent mental health issues to support patients in distressing situations.
\n
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and connect them with community resources to enhance their support network.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to legal, ethical standards, and best practices in clinical record-keeping.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities to remain current in the evolving field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses a diverse array of individuals battling various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. By utilizing evidence-based practices and tailoring our approaches, we aim to empower clients to engage in their treatment actively and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and ability to implement evidence-based treatment methodologies effectively.

• Proven experience in conducting thorough assessments and crafting comprehensive treatment plans.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
\n
• Capability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical principles in all aspects of practice.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as standard computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work within a team-oriented framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling setting is strongly preferred.

• Prior experience providing telehealth services is advantageous and may enhance onboarding efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an attractive compensation package with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
