Key Responsibilities\n

• Coordinate mental health treatment with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator, ensuring seamless integration of counseling services in patient care.

• Lead mental health training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance the overall treatment approach within the clinic.

• Actively intervene in crisis situations, using de-escalation techniques to manage mental health emergencies effectively.
\n
• Attend commitment hearings as required, advocating for the mental health needs of individuals in crisis.
\n
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, including setting achievable goals.
\n
• Document all patient interactions meticulously to maintain a comprehensive record of treatment progress and outcomes.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in managing sensitive medical records.
\n
• Verify comprehensive patient mental health histories, including previously utilized psychotropic medications, to guide treatment decisions.

• Prepare regular status reports and special reports to track progress and identify emerging patterns in patient needs.

• Collaborate with nursing and mental health staff for seamless post-release referrals, ensuring continuity of care for patients transitioning out of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a wide-ranging patient population that includes individuals managing chronic mental health conditions, those in crisis, and patients undergoing detox and restorative therapies. Your ability to relate to diverse backgrounds and unique situations will be essential in establishing a rapport with patients, encouraging their active participation in the recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities for exceptional performance.
