LPN In Long Term Care
This position involves caring for residents in a long-term care environment. The facility serves older adults with primarily geriatric needs. Wound care will be part of the responsibilities, but there will be no tracheostomy care. The nurse will oversee direct patient care, including medication administration. The LPN will supervise certified nursing assistant colleagues. Good critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Care must be provided with dignity and respect. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting.
Requirements:
- NYS LPN License
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association
- 2 years of long term care experience
