Key Qualifications:

• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs), assessments, and therapeutic interventions
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administrators
• Familiarity with compliance and documentation processes in school settings
• Any additional district-required credentials or clearances as mandated

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech and language services tailored to student needs
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of progress for K-12 learners
• Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary evaluations
• Offer guidance to educators and families regarding speech and language strategies
• Ensure full adherence to state and district protocols, as well as ethical standards
