Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Opening | Buffalo, NY | Full-Time School-Based Position

Position Details

• Position: Speech-Language Pathologist
• Location: Buffalo, NY
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of School Year 
• Hours: 35 hours per week
• Daily Schedule: 7:35 AM - 2:35 PM
• Assignment: Up to 4 schools within the district (final school assignments to be determined)

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support student communication success.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Valid New York State School Certification
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Previous school-based experience preferred
