Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs, conducting thorough initial assessments to lay a foundation for treatment.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), for individuals, groups, and families aligned with best practices in mental health.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards while staying organized and detail-oriented.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to appropriate community resources as needed, ensuring holistic support for their mental health journey.

• Continuously evaluate and modify therapy approaches based on client progress and feedback, leveraging various individual therapeutic techniques to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPCC at Sondermind, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes both adults and children/adolescents who are facing various challenges. Your expertise in mental health will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use, and trauma recovery, allowing you to make significant contributions to patient wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree being highly preferred.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted LPCC licensure in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
\n
• Thorough understanding of applicable legal and ethical guidelines governing the practice of counseling.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in specialized therapeutic modalities, especially in family, couples therapy, and trauma-informed care, will be prioritized.

• Previous engagement with telehealth platforms and digital therapy tools to enhance client interaction and support is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
