Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your core responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments and preparing detailed intake summaries and treatment plans based on individual client needs.

• Supervising the development and implementation of treatment programs, ensuring adherence to state and NCQA regulations, as well as maintaining meticulous and confidential records of client progress.

• Providing outpatient psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's situation and goals.

• Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to evaluate patients’ needs for psychotropic medications and manage referrals to additional resources as necessary.

• Offering support and education to clients' families, helping to explain treatment processes, encouraging adherence to therapeutic regimens, and enhancing overall family involvement in care.

• Participating in on-call rotations as needed, addressing urgent client needs while ensuring consistent support and crisis management.

• Developing and conducting psychoeducational classes and group therapy sessions to promote mental wellness and community understanding of mental health issues.

• Supervising trainees or associates as necessary, providing essential mentorship and guidance in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid California state license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) at the time of hire.

The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
