Office Manager

Overview The Office Manager role is to organize, monitor and control the business operations of the Physician Medical Practice and provide overall administration and coordination of department activities and programs, such as Finance, Administrative, Compliance, Revenue Cycle, Technical/IT and Human Resources in the ambulatory setting. Responsible for maintaining standards of PCMH accreditation for medical office if applicable. Responsibilities Provide a positive patient experience by ensuring patients receive timely appointments, have easy access to information, and have clear communication with providers. Improve workflow efficiency by utilizing technology and sharing patient care within the team. Communicate to physician and staff all informational updates pertaining to operations, policies & procedures. Assign staff to appropriate tasks to ensure medical practice calls are promptly answered, screened, and messages are accurately recorded and distributed to appropriate personnel. Serve as the HIPAA Privacy Officer for the Practice and ensure all staff complete required Healthstream training in a timely manner and report any suspected privacy breaches to the Physician Enterprise Privacy Officer. Must achieve EPIC Super User status. Collaborate with the Human Resources team for interviewing and selecting staff for the medical practice. Assist with new employee onboarding and scheduling of new employee orientation. Communicate HR policies and procedures on a continual and constant basis. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with a concentration in Secretarial Science; an Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration is required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five years of experience is required. At least three years of administrative or clinic management experience; competent in applying general operational and personnel practices, accounting/budgeting principles, and coordinating clinic administrative functions. Salary Range USD $56,745.00 - USD $115,500.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
